Show Me the Money Right Now!

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

1000’s of people start a home based business for many reason only to find that its not as easy as you think it was when you first paid over that money to the company. Most companies don’t even give you any training or support, you just pay your money and run with it.

Well I’m here to tell you folks that running a home based business in the early days is not easy. Don’t expect riches overnight, leaving your day job within a week or starting or even placing that deposit down on the Porsche. It just does not work like that.

I will warn you that if you see an opportunity of earning 6 figure incomes with 2-3months then ask yourself a number of questions before handing over your cash.

Why is it a reality that a 6 figure income can be made in 2-3 months ?
Do you honestly think that this can be repeated ?
Can anyone do this ( Very important one this - Can it be duplicated )
Is there proof?
Do you need a massive amount of cash to get it running?
Is it a very easy way to earn money compared to what your doing right now.
Print these question off and have them with you when you are looking at any opportunity.

Now here is the real answers…!!!!

If your a virgin just starting out - Lets face it , a 6 figure income is not going to happen in 2-3 months The only way to repeat it correctly is to do it yourself - Its your business remember Anyone can do this but they will NOT be as good as you will be. What you put in you get out! Proof - The only proof you need is the proof to yourself that this can be done. Yes you will need some cash to get your business up and running. I don’t know of any major massive earning business in todays modern world that start with no money or the loan of money. Set a budget and stick to it.
Finally ……If you see a business that looks easy to work then it most likely will not last. You will have to work at any business daily ideally to stand a chance generating an income. I know people who have marketed their business for around 5 years before they made a sale however these guys now are the earning millions every single year.

The best way to think about this is to think of your business as a 50 mile hose pipe connected to a hand pump well. Now at the other end of this hose pipe is a flower bed that needs water. The more you pump the more the water will come up from out of the ground , along the hose and then eventually to your flower bed where it will flourish.

If you stop pumping then the water goes back down into the well and you need to start all over again. In summary folks….The money will eventually come if you keep constant. Don’t EVER stop on your dream. I hope this has been of some use and interest to you all.

Secrets Revealed - How to Craft a Killer Press Release

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

When writing a press release the topic is so important. It needs to be interesting to draw the reader in but does not have to be a great catastrophic event to be newsworthy. Good topics may include things like new or improved products and services, a joint venture or new employee hiring, or a newly finished eBook, report, or interview of some kind. Even things you always do and have been doing for a long time may benefit when changed into exciting press release material.

How To Express Your Thoughts

When writing the content for the press release, it needs to be written as though you are a third party telling the world about the great thing you have discovered. In this type of writing, the author is objective and not thought of as partial because they are the owner or one offering the product. Never refer to anything such as the word “YOU”. This simple three letter word can stop your press release from acceptance because of advertising content. Word your ad as if you are being subjective and telling about it more than selling it.

Quotes And Other Tall Tales

Rephrase content in such a way that it seems to be more of a statement instead of an idea or opinion. This is strictly a business paper and should not have much if any opinion to it. Quotes can also be used for releases that are intended for the public relations websites to grab the reader in but not be the entire focus of the writing.

How Do I Get My Site Out There?

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Is anyone out there trying to make some money on the internet? Do you have a great website, great content, but NO sales?

Well, let me see if I can help with that. In this article, I will inform you of some information out there that combined will help you perfect your website and get your name out there as it should be. Now, this is not immediate, it takes time for people to actually need, and view your site, and it takes a little time to get listed in the search engines, but for me, this has helped, and I can not be happier.

Some of these are free services and others are for a fee, but are definitely all valuable if you choose to do the leg work yourself.

1. Scrub The Web has a service that will break down the problems in your site, almost line by line. It has keyword density software, metatag analyzer, web page analyzers, validators, and much more. The site address is listed below.

2. FFA Blasters. These are free almost every time. Go to your favorite search engine and type in “FFA Blaster”. What this does for you is sends your site out to tons of lists for viewing. Now, of course, The views depend on the amount of advertising that the list owner does, but as we know, people do not spend money on these lists and advertisement on the lists to not be seen.

3. Forums and Classified Ads. I have found that with all of the different forums and Ads, that people really do read these things. Not so much going on the sites looking for the information, but when you post your add, especially with a blaster, you will have the opportunity to have these ads or comments posted to the Search Engines. The most important thing to do when posting to these areas is to be sure to include keywords that you want people to be looking for. i.e. “Planting grass is my favorite hobby, and planting roses are also.” Your keywords that you hope people would visit would be planting grass or planting roses. Try it, you will be surprised.

4. Articles. I am sure that you already know about this, but let me tell you anyway. Writing your opinion of a subject in article form is extremely powerful. Not only can people view these by searching keywords, but also, you get to offer your product. I was surprised when I saw my articles on the internet, and with other sites making reference to them.

5. Search Engines. As seen earlier in the articles, search engines are the key ingredient to setting your product out. You will want to go to the main ones and submit your site individually (meaning not with a blaster). Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The others, you should be pretty safe using a blaster to submit to them.

Your 4 Point Checklist For Web Success

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

The internet is full of good advice on how to market your website. There are thousands of gurus telling you how to drive huge numbers of highly-targeted buyers to your sites and laying out all manner of techniques for building an internet based business empire. Well, it’s all very well generating huge amounts of traffic but one thing that many people, myself included, often forget is that you must do the proper groundwork before launching your marketing campaign if you are to reap the best rewards for your efforts.

After all, what’s the point of thousands of visitors to your site if you provide them with a poor experience? They are unlikely to come back, and even less likely to trust you enough to buy something from you. The list that follows offers 4 things that I believe you must do before even attempting to spend time (and probably money) on any marketing campaign.

1. Do your market research

It sounds obvious but you wouldn’t try and sell sand to the Arabs or ice to the Eskimos - well not unless you were an addicted marketer who loved a challenge! I can’t stress this enough - do your research. It’s not enough to just pick a buzzword or obvious keyword and spend the next 6 months pummeling it into the ground. You should pick your niche market first and keywords second. There are some simple tips for choosing a profitable niche. Look around you, what are people buying in your neighborhood? Watch some tv, what are the hot products just now? Read newspapers and magazines, or even better just browse the glossies in your local store. In short try and get a feel for what’s going to sell. There are also many websites such as eBay, PriceRunner, Kaboodle and so on that can be utilized successfully in this search.

2. Draw Up A Plan Of Attack

I try and live by the old maxim ‘Fail To Plan And You Plan To Fail’. Try and decide which methods you are going to employ to get maximum return on your investment - remember time is just as valuable a commodity as money in this game. Draw up a shortlist of techniques and prioritize them, for example if you are selling health products you may get better results from posting in relevant forums than from PPC advertising which can be expensive in this niche. Hit your top five methods in order - if you’ve still got time and energy you can always do the less profitable ones next.

3. Create Great Content

There’s nothing like a website filled with great, original content to keep people coming back. I have to say that, probably like most people, the sites that I visit frequently are the ones that are updated with fresh content on a regular basis. Remember, adding content will keep repeat visitors coming back, and of course, the search engines will love you!

4. ‘Get Your Ducks In A Row’

Ok, so you’ve got your product, set up your content filled website, but have you remembered to set up your autoresponder? What’s an Autoresponder you ask? Oh dear - time to revise the plan! Have you set up your contact details, e-mail addresses, are your link all complete… In short, check and check again that your website is complete and functioning before you launch. Its often a good idea to arrange for some friends or relative to sign up just to check that things are working.

Now its time to set forth and spread the word. At least you can be confident that when they crowds start arriving you will be able to cope with them and no-one should have an excuse for not giving you their money!

These tips and many more can be found in a great new e-book available from this website http://www.googletop5.info - please come along and see.

Simple Steps to Quality Website Traffic

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

There is only one way you can be sure you will be getting quality website traffic and that is by creating quality unique content. As you will soon see the search engines seem to like websites that are full of fresh high quality content. So one thing you can do if you want to see your site rank better is to make sure you are adding good quality content on a regular basis.

There are a few things that you can do for yourself to help ensure the visitors that come to your site will be good quality traffic. This may not be simple though and you will need to set aside a block of time to do the things that will attract the visitors you want.

1. You need to make sure the content you provide for your visitor is helpful and the type of content they will want to read. One easy way to present your content is through a simple blog.

2. You do not have to work as hard to get traffic to your website when you provide the right content. The more good content that goes on your site the easier getting quality website traffic becomes. The people who stops by your site will soon be able to recognize your hard work and are more likely to stop buy again to see your latest post. You can get repeat visitors much easier if the content is good.

3. You should continue to monitor any sites you may have even if you are not getting much traffic from them. By doing a simple check you may discover what you are doing wrong and turn things around. With a few simple tweaks it may be possible to get the traffic flow moving.

4. A great way to get quality website traffic coming to your site especially if you do not have a lot of time is to add some interaction on your website. Offer those who visit a way to leave you a comment or ask a question.

Something else you could do is to set up a forum where your visitors can have the freedom to discuss whatever is on their mind. This can go a long way toward building up the trust factor with your visitor.

The bottom line is if you want quality website traffic you have to provide information that your reader will find both helpful and useful. You are just spinning your wheels if you just provide content that is only average. It must provide the answer your reader needs or getting them to come back will be hard.

Emotional Marketing Techniques and Tips

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

The best way to appeal to consumers is through emotional marketing. This method of marketing is about connecting your target market to your product or service at their most basic level - the emotional level. Emotion stimulates people’s minds up to 3000 times faster than non-emotional thought. The world is driven by emotions. People make impulse buys based on emotion, not rational thought. If you can play to people’s emotions, you can get that sale when you otherwise would not.

Spence Kramer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Virgin America in the United States talked about emotional marketing in a recent article. “Emotional marketing does not mean much if the company’s people, products and services do not back it up…. Nike succeeds because its core belief - its brand promise, its love of the potential for the athlete inside everyone ….When that love is manifested in their gear, consumers manifest it in their own lives.” Nike not only makes an emotional connection, but also connects with the individual. It’s essential to have a one-to-one relationship with consumers through emotions to dominate in the market.

Emotional Marketing Techniques

Emotional marketing depends on experience. You cannot really use emotional marketing unless someone has already experienced your product or service. You cannot use poster printing pieces and brochures that talk about how your product has saved a life unless your company has already experienced that.

A few marketing techniques work well in emotional marketing:

Word of mouth - people trust other people that tell them your product works or if it is the best.

Forums - this is basically electronic word of mouth.

Trials - if you have concrete results, and the people who participated in the trials are satisfied, you have proof that your product works, which appeals to people’s skeptical side.

Testimonials - again, people trust other people. If people are willing to take the time to give a testimonial, others will know you have a great product.

Emotional Marketing Copy

When you write your brochure copy or flyer copy, use emotional words, such as “pride,” “happy” and “confidence.” Use feelings you know that your customers want to feel (this should come from your target market research).

Emotional Marketing Colors

Everything about your marketing materials, including your choice of colors, affects your customer. Green makes people think of money and greed; turquoise can make people feel tranquil and peaceful; dark blue is generally connected to feeling depressed. You can search for “colors” and “meaning” on the Internet to find lists that will tell you what colors are associated with what feelings.

Emotions Do Not Have to Be Sad

When people think of emotional marketing, they most likely think of sappy, cry-worthy long-distance type of commercials. But, that is not the only emotion you can appeal to. Why not make people smile and even laugh? When people laugh they release endorphins, which are compounds that make them feel good. If people feel good while viewing your marketing materials, they’ll in turn feel good about you and your product.

Where to Submit Internet Marketing Press Releases

Thursday, July 31st, 2008

Having decided to use press releases as part of a concerted internet marketing campaign, you will now need to make the hardest choice of all. Do you use a free news release service, or a paid one? Of course, the term “free” only refers to the fact that you don’t have to pay for the press release. You still have to spend your own time crafting the release, or else you need to spend money on an outsource worker. Even that is not as easy as it sounds, because most writers are used to wring articles, reports and ebooks, rather than press releases.

It is best to craft your own if you can, because only you will really know what needs to go in it. By the time you have explained your project fully to another writer, you could have done the job yourself. If you are building a business, submitting a press release is something you will want to come back to more than a few times, so it will pay to learn the skill. If you can write a simple press release fairly quickly, then you will have no reason not to submit one to a free submission sites. All you are risking is a little bit of your time.

The most highly regarded site, PRWeb, used to offer free press releases, but no longer does. To submit one for free you can try a service like pressbox.co.uk, which is very easy to use.

The form couldn’t be simpler to fill in, with most of the fields being optional. There is just one giant field for you to paste in your release, which you will presumably have written in a word processor beforehand. Your press release must be submitted to no more than two categories, otherwise it will be deleted completely.

If you decide you want to spend money on a paid press release, then the industry leader prweb.com is still the best place to do this. With their reputation in the industry, you will pick up quite a bit of traffic from a PRWeb press release.

Then I saw the finished product…I was amazed how sensational, unique and beautifully hand-crafted the feeder came out, I immediately prompted him to sell them.

Stephen came up with the name “Whiner and Diner” (appropriate and clever!): our business was born.
