Where to Submit Internet Marketing Press Releases

Having decided to use press releases as part of a concerted internet marketing campaign, you will now need to make the hardest choice of all. Do you use a free news release service, or a paid one? Of course, the term “free” only refers to the fact that you don’t have to pay for the press release. You still have to spend your own time crafting the release, or else you need to spend money on an outsource worker. Even that is not as easy as it sounds, because most writers are used to wring articles, reports and ebooks, rather than press releases.
It is best to craft your own if you can, because only you will really know what needs to go in it. By the time you have explained your project fully to another writer, you could have done the job yourself. If you are building a business, submitting a press release is something you will want to come back to more than a few times, so it will pay to learn the skill. If you can write a simple press release fairly quickly, then you will have no reason not to submit one to a free submission sites. All you are risking is a little bit of your time.
The most highly regarded site, PRWeb, used to offer free press releases, but no longer does. To submit one for free you can try a service like pressbox.co.uk, which is very easy to use.
The form couldn’t be simpler to fill in, with most of the fields being optional. There is just one giant field for you to paste in your release, which you will presumably have written in a word processor beforehand. Your press release must be submitted to no more than two categories, otherwise it will be deleted completely.
If you decide you want to spend money on a paid press release, then the industry leader prweb.com is still the best place to do this. With their reputation in the industry, you will pick up quite a bit of traffic from a PRWeb press release.
